Meghan Markle’s lunch with the Duchess of Cornwall amid wedding nerves

It has been reported that Meghan Markle was invited to lunch this week by The Duchess of Cornwall amid an attack of pre-wedding nerves. According to reports, the former actress’s confident demeanour in public is masking nervousness behind closed doors.

It is said that Meghan Markle is feeling “overwhelmed” at the prospect of her new life as a member of The Royal Family though lunch and a long chat with The Duchess of Cornwall seemed to calm the former ‘Suits’ actress. The Duchess of Cornwall married into The Royal Family as a divorcee as will Meghan Markle.

A source told the Mail on Sunday, “Meghan may appear confident when on Royal walkabouts but she does have some pre-wedding butterflies – not about Harry but about her new life. As Diana once famously said, there is no manual, so Camilla is the best thing Meghan has. Camilla is happy to help.”

The source was also quoted as saying that Meghan is finding it difficult being constrained to Kensington Palace, “Kensington Palace is beautiful, but when Meghan wakes up she has nowhere to go, really. She can’t potter about on the High Street, attend gym classes or jog around Hyde Park. Instead, she is confined to yoga at home or visits to William and Kate in Apartment 1A.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to marry on May 19th at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. It was revealed just days ago that immediately after their wedding, the newly married couple will take a carriage ride around the streets of Windsor – allowing as many gathered well-wishers to see the couple as possible.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are proving to be a popular couple with the crowds with huge numbers greeting them on their recent visit to Edinburgh.
