She is about to become a member of The British Royal Family, but Meghan Markle’s previous day job will come to an end at the end of March as her final episodes of US TV drama, Suits will air in the United Kingdom. The streaming service, Netflix, has confirmed that they will air the legal drama’s seventh season.
The seventh season of Suits returns from its mid-season break in the United States on Wednesday 28th March and will air just 12 hours after in the United Kingdom on Thursday 29th March.
Meghan Markle will appear in upcoming episodes but will leave the show at the end of the current season. Markle plays Rachel Zane in the series, a paralegal/part-time associate at the fictional law firm in New York City.
A statement from American broadcaster, USA Network, read, “From all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we want to send our most heartfelt congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement. Meghan has been a member of our family for seven years and it has been a joy to work with her. We want to thank her for her undeniable passion and dedication to Suits and we wish her the very best.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to marry on May 19th at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Suits began in 2011 and is an American legal drama series created and written by Aaron Korsh. The show has been nominated for numerous awards since it began including Screen Actors Guild Awards and People’s Choice Awards.
Meghan Markle’s final season of Suits will stream weekly and with six episodes remaining in the current season, Meghans’s final appearance on the show in the United Kingdom will be on Thursday 26th April.
