Her Majesty The Queen and The Prince of Wales have been turned in to soft toy carrots as part of supermarket, Aldi’s, Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The famous Kevin the Carrot, usually seen throughout the Christmas season, will make a triumphant return to celebrate The Queen’s 70 years on the throne alongside a host of his celebratory friends.

Two versions of Kevin the Carrot will be available for the Jubilee celebrations including Flag Waving Kevin and Union Jack Kevin. Kevin’s wife, Katie the Carrot, will join him in her Union Jack outfit alongside a carrot Queen’s Guard.
The Queen Carrot will be dressed in an iconic regal purple skirt suit and her signature coiffured hair topped with a jewelled crown. Joining her is Prince Charles the Carrot who dons a traditional medal adorned scarlet tunic. No royal merchandise would be complete without a Corgi and Aldi have not disappointed as they have a choice of brown or grey.
Since his launch over six years ago, Kevin the Carrot has been a firm favourite with Aldi shoppers and has become a staple of the festive season. Historically, when Kevin the Carrot is launched, they do sell out incredibly quickly.

The plush toys will be available at £3.99 each or in two bundle choices for £15.95. Regal Kevin and his friends will only be available for a limited period only. They will be available to pre order online from 22nd May and available in store from 26th May.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations take place from Thursday 2nd June – Sunday 5th June.
