In a statement released by Buckingham Palace earlier today, it was revealed that doctors had concern for Her Majesty The Queen’s health and she would remain under their supervision. Since the announcement, various members of The Royal Family have travelled to Balmoral Castle to be alongside The Queen.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke of Cambridge and The Princess Royal have all made their way to Balmoral. Charles and Camilla were in residence at Birkhall. The Duke of York and The Earl and Countess of Wessex have also made their way to Scotland, and it is reported that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also travelling to the estate as well.
The Queen pulled out of a Privy Council meeting on Wednesday evening following doctor’s advice.
The announcement from Buckingham Palace read;
“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.
The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.“
Prime Minister Liz Truss commented that “my thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.”
